The type of personal information we collect
We currently collect and process the following information:
- Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)
- Information regarding your exercise history, lifestyle, habits and any injuries or medical conditions relevant to your training.
How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
- To allow us to contact you to arrange a consultation
- To remain in contact to deliver your training programme, or to inform you about changes, cancellations or other important information regarding your training
We use the information that you have given us in order to make and maintain contact with you as a prospective or current client.
We may share this information internally with employees and directors of the company in order to facilitate your training. Your data may also be stored in systems administered by our web hosting company, Fasthosts UK Ltd., and by companies providing data backup, security and storage services to us.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting owen@duffyfitness.co.uk
(b) Contractual obligation. We require your personal information in order to fulfil our obligations to you.
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored.
We keep identifying information and any health and fitness information you supply to our company for the duration of the time you spend training with us. We retain identifying information and health and fitness information for up to six months after you terminate your membership in order to facilitate your membership renewal should you choose to return. We will then dispose your information by deleting it from our records and systems. If you desire the immediate deletion of your data, we will delete it for you on request.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
Your right to erasure – You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to restriction of processing – You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to object to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.

Third-party services
We use a number of third-party services on our site, some of which may collect information and use cookies on users’ devices to provide services to us and you. These include:
Google/Doubleclick – We use Google Ads to promote our site and services. Google collects information to monitor and improve the efficacy of its ad service.
Calendly – Calendly provides event booking and time management services to us to allow you to book consultation calls. Calendly may store user information to facilitate this service.
