Hi, I’m Andrea, a qualified and experienced personal trainer in Paisley. Whether you’re looking to lose weight, get stronger, build muscle or improve your general fitness, I can support you every step of the way.

Personal training

As your personal trainer, I’ll work with you in and out of the gym to achieve your fitness goals.

I’ve helped hundreds of people to lose weight, gain muscle, get stronger and improve sporting performance in almost a decade in the industry.

I won’t waste your time with fitness fads or “miracle” diets. Instead, I’ll work with you to deliver the results you want in a way that’s safe, sustainable, fun and effective.

And while I specialise in great workouts, my job doesn’t end when you leave the gym. I offer total support on your fitness journey, with nutrition and lifestyle advice to help you make permanent changes for a healthier, happier life.

How it works

Before we start working together, you’ll have a free consultation where you can tell me about your goals, background and lifestyle. From there, we’ll assess your current level of fitness and agree on some ambitious but achievable goals for your training.

We’ll meet up for regular gym sessions where I’ll guide you through a bespoke and carefully targeted exercise programme, ensuring you perform movements safely and with appropriate intensity to deliver incredible results.

My clients also have access to a private training app where I’ll provide full details of your programme, including both our sessions together and your own supported independent training. The app includes an extensive exercise video library, so even when training independently, you’ll have a clear and comprehensive guide to every technique.

Of course, nutrition is just as important to your fitness as exercise, and you’ll be able to record and share your daily food intake with me so that I can offer advice on eating to support your efforts in the gym.

My Gold and Platinum level clients can also contact me by instant messenger with any exercise, fitness, nutrition and lifestyle queries between our sessions.

Above all, I’ll aim to empower you to take charge of your own fitness, helping you to learn about your body and the fundamentals of exercise and nutrition. My goal isn’t just to help you in the short term, it’s to support you to make positive, permanent changes for lifelong fitness.

Small group training

As well as one-to-one personal training, I offer small group training sessions where up to three clients work out together. Keeping these groups small allows me to devote my attention to everyone taking part, and I group clients with similar goals together to ensure that everyone gets what they’re looking for from their sessions.

Many people find training together a fun and sociable approach to fitness, and it lets us do cool things like partnered drills and challenges!

I’ve trained friends, colleagues and family members together – and even a few clients who used it as a date night with a difference!

How it works

If you already have at least one person you’d like to train with, great! Get in touch and we can schedule your sessions together. If there are only two of you, that’s fine, although we may add a third participant to your sessions if someone is looking for a group.

If you’re interested in group training but don’t have anyone you’d like to train with, that’s not a problem. Contact me today and we’ll aim to add you to a group with an open slot as soon as possible.

My story

I first discovered my love of fitness after the birth of my second child. After joining a gym to lose some “baby weight,” I was amazed at the effect exercise had on me. I lost nearly 20kg and improved my strength, stamina and flexibility. Just as importantly, I felt much happier and more confident in my day-to-day life.

I enjoyed the experience so much that I made a complete career change, giving up my sedentary desk job to qualify as a fitness coach and personal trainer.

In the course of my career I’ve worked in a leading women’s gym, a top UK fitness chain and an upmarket country club. I’ve even run fitness classes for older adults in residential homes around Glasgow.

Working with such a wide range of clients has given me a valuable insight into the many reasons people seek to improve their fitness, as well as how to overcome the barriers that can often stand in their way.

When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy my own training, running races between 5k and half marathon, reading, music, travel and binge-listening to true crime podcasts.
